Chapter 105

As they zoomed into Miao Jia’s paused frame, it was the figure of a Level-3 alien.

The Level-3 alien was throwing a menacing stare straight at the plane that was filming it. If it could fly, Fu Shiwu had no doubt that it would’ve torn the plane down.

Fu Shiwu felt as though a huge rock had pressed on his chest. He lightly punched the bed and said with rage: “These Level-3 aliens are blasphemous!”

Then, thinking of something, he looked up: “Miao Jia! Help me with this. I want to share my experiences and discoveries about the Level-3 aliens with these cities that are still caught in battles!”

Miao Jia raised his head to look at him. Fu Shiwu’s eyes were extremely firm and stern.

Miao Jia was so thrilled that his breathing became uneven: “Okay!”

As Fu Shiwu carefully told Miao Jia about the process of his search for the Level-3 aliens, Miao Jia inputted the content into a text post and submitted it to the Focus Forum.

Needless to say, he left the detail about Fu Shiwu’s ability hidden. He laid out the content in a way that other people and ability users could understand and follow.

Details were put up about everything, including every single odd move that the aliens made.

Be it during daytime or nighttime, the best time to search for the Level-3 alien was when the Level-1 and -2 aliens exchanged their duties. Furthermore, Fu Shiwu also highlighted the vibrating waves through which the Level-3 aliens gave their orders or communicated with each other on the battlefield.

In the end, the most important point was that as long as they could locate and kill off any Level-3 alien, the other Level-3 aliens would gather together in a panic, which would give the best chance to catch them all.

Miao Jia’s eyes flashed with excitement as he kept mumbling to himself: “Fantastic! With this post, the crisis in many cities will come to an end!”

Miao Jia used the most straightforward and concise language to accurately describe what Fu Shiwu proposed. After editing these contents, he quickly sent them to the military information section of the Focus Forum through the ‘Mr. Fu’’s ID.

This section was where the troops in different places exchanged information, which had also piqued the interest of the Civil Halls across major cities.

As soon as it went live, the post swiftly pulled people’s attention, and some moderators even desperately tried to contact Pei City for verification.

Very soon, the staff of Pei City’s Civil Hall gave an affirmative answer, and just like the previous post, this was pinned to the top of the forum for everyone’s notice.

There weren’t many people on the Focus Forum at the moment since most people were having their hands full with defending against the Level-3 aliens. Only the people in the Civil Halls were still on duty. After confirming that the post told the truth, they immediately informed the contents to the relevant personnel. In helping the cities to successfully repel the siege led by the Level-3 aliens, this information was of critical importance.

Of course, Fu Shiwu and the others wouldn’t be able to know these things that took place in the background.

Fu Shiwu just looked at the published post and sighed at the user name of ‘Mr. Fu’: “I hope it can be of some help.”

Miao Jia said assuringly: “It’ll definitely be of help. Even if some of them don’t find it useful now, sooner or later, the Level-3 aliens will move to other places after destroying these cities, and by then no more tragedies will happen thanks to the information on this post.”

Fu Shiwu twitched his lips ever so lightly to put up a smile.

The next thing Fu Shiwu had to do was to ‘recuperate’. But compared to the bloody tragedies that were taking place in other cities, the news that came later made Fu Shiwu feel even more repulsed.

Captain Zou’s opposing faction was ousted from power in total humiliation, and the military power of Pei City was finally unified under one command. With the change of power, all the dirty conspiracies plummeted to the ground at a drop of a hat.

Meanwhile, the Dragonbone Corps, a previously unknown and small corps of only eight people, emerged the victor and proudly occupied a corner of Pei City.

Fu Shiwu didn’t stay in the hospital for a full month and was discharged after only ten days.

When he returned to Villa No. 7, everyone except Zhen Zi came to welcome his return.

Fu Shiwu looked with amazement at Shao Le, who had turned up out of the blue: “Why are you here?”

Shao Le laughed as he cast a respectful gaze at Fu Shiwu: “Commander Fu, I plan to join your team!”

For a moment, Fu Shi Wu was at a loss: “You mean you want to join the Dragonbone Corps?” Then, claiming down, he continued: “Doesn’t Ping Nan have their own guild?”

“That’s right!” Shao Le simply nodded: “After the siege of the city, I feel that only by becoming a warrior and constantly fighting against aliens that I won’t waste my ability. Besides that, I also want to kill all aliens as soon as possible. These damnable aliens!”

Previously, Ping Nan had also established their own guild, the Ping Nan Guild.

Those who came out of Ping Nan Prison had too great an advantage and many became a target for recruitment by others, but after many hardships, these people had come to understand the power of unity.

As such, they created a guild to better exert their powers.

Meanwhile, some of them truly admired the life-saving grace of the Dragonbone Corps. They felt that they should officially register as ability users and were very willing to follow Fu Shiwu’s group, who had now pretty much become ‘legendary’ figures.

Fu Shiwu didn’t know how Dragonbone Corps’s fame had spread in Pei City at the moment. It was as though the story of their abilities that stopped the alien wave had become a myth that turned people into devoted worshippers.

From Ping Nan, there were quite a number of them that wanted to join Dragonbone Corps like Shao Le. But by this point, with Wen Zhaoming having become an extremely cautious man, he wouldn’t rashly let people whom he didn’t know very well join them.

Among those people, there was only Shao Le who once fought by their side, not to mention that Zhen Zi was familiar with him. As such, he became the first to enter No. 7 Villa.

With a stern expression, Fu Shiwu nodded: “Okay, I’ll accept you. Welcome to Dragonbone Corps.”

“Shiwu?” Tang Xuhai gaped at him in surprise.

Fu Shiwu’s decision was unexpectedly fast.

Fu Shiwu turned his head, telling Tang Xuhai: “It’s time to add new blood to our group. We have too few people. Besides wanting to take in new mutants, I’m also thinking about getting some ordinary people to act as our logistics staff. Say, just like right now, we need someone to take care of Zhen Zi, but we couldn’t find anyone.”

Fu Shiwu swept a glance at the baffled expressions of the people around him: “Dragonbone Corps will definitely grow, but we can’t do everything by ourselves. We should also free up our time for training.”

Wen Zhaoming said with admiration: “Shiwu, you’ve thought of the same thing as me. To be honest, Dragonbone Corps has reached a good momentum, but we’re only an empty shelf. The established Ping Nan Guild will certainly be of great help to us. Now that we even have alliances, what reason do we have to not fly even higher?”

Fu Shiwu blinked: “I didn’t think so much. I simply thought that the next time a critical situation happens, there shouldn’t be only four people standing on the wall facing the aliens.”

Tang Xuhai smiled: “You’ve planned well. Leave the training to me, I’ll make a training schedule and arrange special training for everyone.”

Miao Jia stood aside. After hearing the conversation among the team leaders, his heart which was full of excitement just a second ago suddenly was splashed with icy-cold water, so much so that he trembled.

He hated special training!

Wen Zhaoming snapped his fingers and said with a smile: “It’s just nice that we also have a training ground.”

Tang Xuhai was taken aback: “Where?”

Wen Zhaoming beamed proudly, but keeping his cool, he continued: “As compensation, besides a large number of Civil Points, the military has rewarded us a training ground. Situated right inside the East Development Zone, it’s a large training venue specially built for the Corps and Guilds by earth-type ability users. We’ve even gotten the largest terrain.”

Fu Shiwu silently felt a drop of sweat slip down his temple.

Tang Xuhai laughed wryly: “Lao Wen, this is really a pleasant surprise.”

Wen Zhaoming waved his hand indifferently: “This is nothing. The important thing is what’s behind us.” He turned around and waved his hand: “What do you think that is?”

Tang Xuhai and Fu Shiwu looked behind to see that parked in the Chinese-style garden of Villa No. 7 was something extremely out-of-place — an armoured vehicle.

“How come this is here?!” Tang Xuhai’s tongue was almost tied.

Wen Zhaoming replied as a matter of factly: “Of course, it’s our compensation. Haven’t you been obsessed with getting a modified vehicle?”

Fu Shiwu propped his forehead and said feebly: “…What else?”

With a snicker, Wen Zhaoming raised his hand. With both hands, Shao Le dutifully handed the item over.

Fu Shiwu took a closer look: “You found my gun?”

Wen Zhaoming nodded: “Unfortunately, the previous gun has deformed, so this is a new one. The ammunition department was ashamed that you were put through such a difficult situation during battle, so they solemnly promised that they would work hard to develop new materials as soon as possible. Of course, I didn’t trust them, so they gave me the contact information of an expert. We can also figure out a way by ourselves.”

Besides a few ‘hehe’, Tang Xuhai was completely unable to utter any words.

In this life, I absolutely must not fight against Wen Zhaoming!

Meanwhile, Miao Jia had secretly put the label of a ‘Black-bellied Bloodsucker’ on Wen Zhaoming’s forehead.
